Fashion Awards MD Announces the 2013 Awards Nominees
Baltimore, MD March 18, 2013: The 2013 Fashion Awards MD is proud to announce this year’s Nominees. After reviewing close to 11,000 nominations, the Fashion Awards MD has made its final selections for the 2013 Awards Nominees. The general public is encouraged to give their voice and vote for the top nominees using the FAMD website www.FashionAwardsMD.com starting on April 1, 2013. A panel of diverse industry experts have been selected as guest judges to deliver a portion of the final scores. The 2013 Fashion Awards Judges are listed below.

On Wednesday May 8th, FAMD will present Awards to the recipients of the “Emerging” categories and the “Rising Star” category at the Tremont Plaza, located at 225 N Charles Street in Downtown Baltimore. In conjunction with The Baltimore Fashion Alliance, The Tremont Plaza and Bonneau Caprece, this event will also double as an industry networking event and fashion showcase prior to the awards ceremony. The networking portion of the event starts at 6:30PM on the 3rd Floor, with fashion showcases and a host of fashion vendors. At 8PM, attendees will transition to the 2nd floor for a live fashion showcase and awards presentation. Attendees are encouraged to bring new or gently worn business attire for men and/or women to be donated to the Sharp Dressed Man program. Tickets for this event are $25 in advance and are currently available at www.WearItOutBaltimore.com.
The main category event will take place on Saturday June 15th, with a fabulous awards ceremony featuring fashion shows, live performances, special guests and more, taking place at the Brown Center at MICA, 1301 W. Mt Royal Avenue in Baltimore. This fashionable affair starts at 6PM with a Red Carpet Hour, VIP arrivals and media interviews. Guests will be seated at 7PM, and the Awards show begins promptly at 7:30PM. “I’m extremely excited for this year’s event, and I can’t wait to see all of the pieces come to life!
