Dawn Richard Reveals Diddy Has “Released” Her From Bad Boy
The sole member of now-defunct girl group Danity Kane has left the building of Bad Boy. Apparently handling the direction of the Diddy-Dirty Money project wasn’t enough to convince the hip-hop mogul to invest in Dawn Richard‘s solo career.
“Puff has been really great with being supportive of me starting a solo career,” she gracefully lies. “He’s agreed to let me go from Bad Boy.”
As we know, exiting from a contract is not a simple process–especially for recording artists signed to Bad Boy. Dawn says her split from Diddy was amicable, and she’s grateful.
