Nicki Minaj was in her homeland of Trinidad celebrating with the locals on her video shoot for ‘Pound the Alarm.’ As requested by her Barbz in an online voting poll, the Young Money rapstress is going ahead with the dance-pop single.


The Trinidad-born hip hop artist, who was born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago, performed alongside soca star Machel Montano during the filming in Belmont, yesterday afternoon.
Nicki was driven around the streets on the back of a lorry with music blasting from huge speakers just like a real carnival procession.
She was dressed as flamboyantly as ever in a a pair of fishnet tights with high-waisted black pants and some well placed jewelry to cover her modesty along with a tiny gold bikini.
