Fashion Trend: African Print 2012-2013

Fashion Trend: African print is hot right now and we at poshthesocialite.com are loving it. This trend is scene off and on from 2010 to present. African women who rock their traditional attire are now seeing the fabric and print everywhere.

African inspirations tribal prints seem to be the emerging as a fashion trend among Stars.
Solange Knowles is one of the fiercest females in Hollywood. She is unapologetic for what she wears and is consistently going against the grain. In fact in a recent photo shoot, she rocked many looks with authentic African fabrics and paired them with some great American trends such as thigh high boots and blazers.  Solange rocks the tribal print like no other but this look is not only for the stars.

Tribal prints can be found within any price range. Forever 21, a local retail store has various tribal print bottoms, tops and accessories as low as $6.80. However there is a slight disclaimer, because forever 21 carries a large variety of patterns and styles shopping can be overwhelming at times. So scan the website first to have an idea of what you want before you get in the store. Urban Outfitters is also great for this new look, a personal favorite of mine is their Ecote split wedge. Also looking up local vintage shops, African convenience stores and fabric store in your areas will be sure to lead you to some great tribal find.
