Lil Wayne "Awkward" : Music

“Who the f*ck is Stevie J? If you don’t know by now, you mother f*ckers are stupid,” Lil’ Wayne says during the intro of “Awkward.” What’s truly awkward about the bass-heavy tune, produced by Jahlil Beats and Key Wayne, is that I assumed the mixtape drop was for Joselyn Hernandez’s boo. I was immediately reminded of the mass confusion surrounding Wayne kissing “Stevie J” on the lips. Apparently there’s a DJ with the same namesake. But all of that is irrelevant.
