About: Respect The West is a movement that highlights and pays homage to new and established West Coast musicians. On the forefront of discovering burgeoning artists, Cashmere Agency established Respect The West at SXSWin 2010. Since then, Respect The West has showcased at SXSW in 2011 and 2012, hosted showcases in Los Angeles and was featured in BET Hip Hop Awards' famous cyphers as the "Respect The West Cypher".
