Necole Bitchie Host X-Rated Fusion D.C Event [Interview & Photos]

Last Wednesday, October 19th, I was able to chat with celebrity blogger Necole Bitchie at an event for tastemakers and socialites.

X-Rated Fusion, a liqueur notable for being a fusion of premium French vodka blood orange, mango and passion fruit, hosted the event at the artsy Fathom Creative gallery.

Visitors were greeted with pretty pink luminaries and treated to delicious hors d' oeuvres, pastries and complimentary specialty drinks by X-Rated Fusion.

Posh The Socialite: Hi Necole it's a pleasure meeting you. You inspired me to start my own blog. I'm so happy to meet you.

Necole Bitchie: Aww Thank You

Posh The Socialite: So, tell me about the event that you're hosting with X-Rated Fusion tonight?

Necole Bitchie: I'm here for X-Rated Fusion. They had an event for their influencers and I got to invite four twitter followers of mine. So very excited and I love X-Rated, so it was a perfect match for me.

Posh The Socialite: Okay awesome, so now what do you think about other bloggers that rely on the content on your blog as a resource? Do you think it's “jackin'” or do you feel like you're influential to those bloggers?

Necole Bitchie: It's flattering...what I said earlier when everyone starts out you're always going to be compared to somebody so, you might tweet a post and someone may say, "You're try to be the next Necole Bitchie." When I first came out they were saying "you're trying to be Perez Hilton". I took it as a compliment because I studied his business model. When I came out and I noticed he was the only blogger that branded himself outside of his site, that opened up many opportunities outside of blogging to make money. You know to expand the brand. I didn't take it as an insult to it I took it as a compliment.

Posh The Socialite: What advice or inspiring words can you give to up and coming bloggers?

Necole Bitchie: I just want to say stay consistent and stay dedicated and have faith. Have integrity because people say anything. Stay true to yourself and it will really make you stand out from everybody else.
